Usman Waheed is a Managing Director in Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA).

Prior to joining Blackstone in 2025, Mr. Waheed served as Head of US at Sand Grove Capital LLC, where he invested in fundamental long/short equities.  Previously, Mr. Waheed was the Founder of Strycker View Capital LLC, a fundamental equity long/short hedge fund where he served as CIO and Portfolio Manager.

Prior to this, Mr. Waheed was at P. Schoenfeld Asset Management (PSAM) and at Lazard.

Mr. Waheed received a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
